Peter has over 25 years of experience assisting clients in resolving commercial claims and disputes.
With a primary focus on building and construction law, Peter drafts and negotiates construction contracts and subcontracts, and provides contract and administration advice during projects. Peter also represents clients in security of payment claim adjudications and responses, and contract disputes in all courts, tribunals and at mediations. His experience covers a wide range of aspects of construction projects, including defects, variations, latent conditions, liquidated damages, delay damages, programming, payment disputes, and copyright disputes.
Peter’s experience also includes:
- Representing clients in company, business and property litigation;
- Providing insurance advice and representation, including policy advice, claims management and defence, risk management and liability claims; and
- Representing clients in trust disputes, family provision claims and contesting wills.
Peter is a Queensland Law Society Accredited Specialist in Commercial Litigation. An enthusiastic supporter of alternative dispute resolutions, Peter regularly represents clients at mediations, negotiations and adjudications.
