Michael joined Rose in 2024 and practices in commercial litigation, insolvency and dispute resolution.
Michael has been in practice since 2017 and has a wealth of experience dealing with high emotion litigation and the breakdown of long-term relationships, both commercial and personal. Michael has a broad litigation background and substantial experience appearing before Courts of all jurisdictions. Michael is an experienced and strong advocate who focusses on the needs of clients and producing a commercial outcome that balances the complexities and risk of litigation against the impact of litigation on a client and related parties. Michael was from 2019 to 2023 a director and treasurer of a medium-sized veterans support charity and has experience in manoeuvring with the complex environment of a board and an understanding of the issues that can often arise in that forum.
Outside of work, Michael is a sports fanatic and plays basketball several times a week. Michael also enjoys spending time with his growing family and delving into the depths of history.
